Main Goal: Building the capabilities of youth who support democracy in Leadership
Project Period: 20 months (April 2021 – December 2022)

Activities:

  1. Field study of active youth groups in their local communities in Khartoum State, (three cities and seven localities).
  2. 13 training workshops were held (5 days per session), during which 376 young people of both sexes were trained (198 female + 178 male ), taking into account geographical, ethnic and gender diversity.

Training content: – Identifying the types, styles and forms of leadership – Types of leaders – You as a leader – The ancient and modern history of Sudan and leaders throughout history – Negotiation skills – Public speaking skills – How to analyze the context (politically, economically, socially, culturally, environmentally and technologically)

Observed results

1. A broad youth base was formed in different colors of spectrum.
2. Exchange knowledge and experiences.
3.Youth bonds were formed between the trainee youth

Success Stories:

  1. One of most important achievements of project is linking youth to KACE center and thus influencing some negative and wrong behaviors, as two young people were transferred from the stage of beginning drug abuse to the stage of complete cessation.
    And also the return of one of the young man to continue his university studies after a two-year break
  2. Activating a number of local youth initiatives, such as the Library Initiative and the Our Heltna Ajmal Initiative
